SING ALONG IF IT’S YOUR BIRTHDAY!

Dave Wysuph reports on Ken Leong’s rehab:

OK, I know some of you are a little skeptical about the “power of prayer”, well here is an update to abate some of your skepticism! I just got this update from Kit Leong.
“Just got off the phone with his nurse. He is off the ventilator and breathing on his own but with oxygen mask support. He is EXTREMELY weak so they are doing range of motion exercises with him. I was able to talk to him late yesterday afternoon but he wasn’t able to talk to me. Today the nurse told me she was able to get him to give 1-2 word responses but very faint, his vitals are “rock solid” and he is doing great. Per his physician he will be in the hospital another month–to clear the virus and pneumonia and to help regain his strength. Our God is an awesome God!”

Your prayers helped this brother and his family through this, Kit is correct, we have an awesome God. Thanks to all of you for your support for the family.

April 7 –

OH man am I excited to make this post!  Just got this from Kit Leong.
“From the God is GREAT department – Ken has been doing physical therapy and speech therapy (swallowing and talking) – he got his first real meal tonight and….drum roll.. I was able to talk to him this evening for 15 minutes.  He was a little confused about what happened over the past 3 weeks but he is on the mend.  He has a lot of physical therapy to do so he can do things on his own.  He was looking for his credit card as he is an Amazon junkie, but it’s in my hands so he will have to forgo it for a while.  He has way too much unsupervised time on his hands!”
From being almost dead a while ago, he is talking and looking to do some retail therapy!  Thank you for all your prayers!

2020 Ducks Unlimited Continental Shoot in Las Vegas

is a memory now. They say you learn a lot more from failure than from success. That being the case, any day now my Master certificate will arrive in the mail! Made several STUPID mistakes and it showed on my score card. On the bright side – I saw some friends I see once a year, and made some new friends. Had a ball shooting with these guys, DennisBertocchi, Ron Bourque, and Matt Long. Also found a great hole in the wall place for breakfast in Vegas. Growing a “beard of shame” until my shooting improves…….I may be in it for a long time!

A LITTLE HUMOR?
A suspected Covid-19 male patient is lying in bed in the hospital, wearing an oxygen mask over his mouth and nose. A young student female nurse appears and gives him a partial sponge bath.
“Nurse,”‘ he mumbles from behind the mask, “are my testicles black?”
Embarrassed, the young nurse replies, “I don’t know, Sir. I’m only here to wash your upper body and feet.”
He struggles to ask again, “Nurse, please check for me. Are my testicles black?”
Concerned that he might elevate his blood pressure and heart rate from worrying about his testicles, she overcomes her embarrassment and pulls back the covers.
She raises his gown, holds his manhood in one hand and his testicles gently in the other.
She looks very closely and says, “There’s nothing wrong with them, Sir. They look fine.”
The man slowly pulls off his oxygen mask, smiles at her, and says very slowly,
“Thank you very much. That was wonderful. Now listen very, very, closely:
“Are – my – test – results – back?”

While Californians deal with the fallout from the stay-at-home order during the novel coronavirus outbreak, places that depend on tourism are especially hard hit. In Calaveras County, where businesses depend on tourism, officials are pleading with visitors to stay away.
